NoFollow Checker Privacy Policy

1. Data we process

The extension processes data only on the pages you open, and only what it needs to draw the outlines:

• Link attributes: the rel attribute of links on the current page, used to decide which links are nofollow.
• The number of nofollow links found, shown in the popup for the current page.
• Your settings: highlight on/off, border color, style and width, stored so the extension can apply them next time.

2. How the data is used

The data above is used only for these purposes:

• Drawing the outline around nofollow links
• Showing the nofollow count in the popup
• Applying your saved highlight settings on the next page

3. Data storage

The extension does not upload page content, links or URLs to any server.

Your settings are stored in Chrome’s sync storage so they follow your Chrome profile. The count and the outlines exist only while the page is open.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, share or transfer your data to third parties.

We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, analytics or marketing.

5. Remote code

The extension does not execute remote code. All extension code ships inside the package.

6. Your control

• Turn highlighting off in the popup — no reload needed.
• Reset the border style in the options page at any time.
• Uninstalling the extension lets Chrome remove the stored settings.
